About Robb

Robb Helfrick has worked in the creative field for three decades, initially as a travel and architectural photographer and then later as a writer and author. His stories and pictures have appeared in many prominent publications including Sierra, National Parks, Sky, Town & Country, Atlanta Magazine, Blue Ridge Country, and National Geographic Adventure. He is the author of twelve travel and coffee-table books including The Civil War in Georgia, Savannah Impressions, North Carolina Unforgettable, Charleston Impressions, Georgia Simply Beautiful, and the Fodor's Guidebook, Georgia. His most recent book is North Carolina: A Photographic Journey.
Robb's photographs have been exhibited in many prestigious galleries, including Atlanta's Fernbank Museum of Natural History. He has also won the Foote Conservation Award for his work, presented by the Governor of Georgia. Robb's assignments have taken him to 43 states and numerous foreign countries. He is currently working on several new book projects that near completion in 2023.
